Obituary

Amy Elizabeth Lippincott, 47, went home to the Source “trailing clouds of glory” on July 20, 2017, after a short illness. She was a patient at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset and had been surrounded by family in the days leading up to her death.
Amy was born in Trenton, New Jersey, and lived most of her life in Burlington and Ocean counties, New Jersey. She was a 1988 graduate of Northern Burlington Regional High School; she later graduated from Burlington County Community College; and in 1994 she earned a summa cum laude degree in Education from Glassboro State College, now Rowan University. Amy was a kind, loving, intelligent, generous, brave soul who loved music, laughter, butterflies, cats, and the beach. She spent many happy days in Surf City, New Jersey.
Amy is survived by her mother and step-father, Margaret (Amos) and Jon Harpool, Burlington NJ; her brother, Maurie P. Lippincott, Whiting, NJ; her sister and brother-in-law, Cate and Kris Romano, Deptford, NJ; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Amy was preceded in death by her father, Maurice F. Lippincott; paternal grandparents Maurice J. and Sarah (Rockhill) Lippincott; and maternal grandparents Paul and Dora Amos.
Donations in Amy’s memory may be made to an organization dedicated to cleaning up the ocean or to Abandoned Angels Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 119. Columbus, NJ 08022 (Abandoned AngelsRescue.org).
