Milton was born in Bronx, New York and formerly of Short Hills, Warren and Bridgewater before moving to Somerset in 2012. Milton owned and operated Brenner Florist and the Martinsville Inn in Martinsville for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II. Milton was a member of Temple Sholom in Bridgewater and the Jewish Federation. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, reading, gardening, and listening to music. Milton will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He is predeceased by his sister Anita Cascar.

Surviving are his wife of 72 years Claire, daughters Sara Maurer, Beth Cohen, and Marla Novy, son Steven Gottlieb, sister Sheila Morris, and grandchildren Jamie Sunyak, Jennifer Boyd, Ari and Robert Novy, Shoshana Stopek, Rebecca, and Joshua Cohen.

Graveside services will be 1pm Wednesday at B’Nai Abraham Memorial Park, Union. Arrangements by Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, Somerville.
