From the very beginning of planning our Moms funeral, Bruce made a difficult time for us, more at ease. We met at the funeral home and it was such a streamlined process. Bruce covered every question we had and made suggestions to give our Mom the best funeral. The entire funeral from start to finish was flawless. Every phase of the funeral was done with professionalism. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bruce's services to anyone. Bruce and Brittany, thank you for making such a sad time a lot easier knowing every thing was planned and covered. Thank you The Palchanes Family

I recently had the unfortunate experience of needing the services of Bruce C. Van Arsdale Funeral Home, and I have to say that I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and kindness during such a difficult time. They were a pleasure to work with, especially the daughter Brittany. She accommodated all of our requests, no questions asked, and made the whole process as easy as possible. They were always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. The funeral home itself was beautifully maintained and provided a peaceful atmosphere for us to say our final goodbyes. The staff was incredibly compassionate and attentive to our needs while we were there reminiscing with the important people in my brother's life. I highly recommend this funeral home to anyone who's in need of their services. They went above and beyond to make a difficult time as comfortable as possible and truly exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you for everything you did for my family.

Bruce and Brittany helped my family plan my mother’s funeral service and I am very grateful for their help and attention throughout the process. The space layout offered an intimate and serene atmosphere. There were photo boards and display areas for photos and memory books which all the guests appreciated. The room played light relaxing music throughout the service. They also recommended a local florist which set up beautiful floral arrangements/wreathes for the service. It was not easy to say goodbye to a loved-one and I deeply appreciate Bruce and Brittany’s help. Everyone in attendance complimented on the space and service. Thank you!

Hello. Sorry for your loss to anyone who might be reading this and looking for these type of services. Bruce is extremely responsive and a pleasure to deal with. In a difficult situation with a lot to do and deal with, Bruce is definitely someone I would say that you can count on. He is always extremely busy but at the same time makes time whether it be answering questions, dealing with the Cemetery or whatever else. He definitely helped to take the burden off of me when I had to deal with difficult times last fall. I strongly recommend Bruce (and his family). Steve

Dear Bruce and Brittany, We can’t thank you enough for helping to make such a difficult time in our lives a little bit easier! The ‘Celebration of Life’ for Grandpa was a beautiful tribute to a very special person. Everything from your advice, to the room, the location, and even your recommendation for dinner afterwards was perfect! Thanks for all of your help! The Monaco Family

Dear Bruce: We cannot even begin to thank you enough for everything that did for us when mom passed away. We would never have been able to do it without your help. You were so considerate of our feelings and emotions at that time. You also went above and beyond what you were required to do. The entire family expresses their gratitude. Nothing went unchecked and was a very beautiful service. Again, thank you so much for your friendship. Our family has been doing business with Bruce Van Arsdale Funeral Home for 40+ years. Dear Bruce and Brittany; I want to take a moment to thank you for all you did to help us with a very stressful and sad time when my Aunt passed away. You could not have been more caring or helpful with all of the arrangements and things we had to deal with. From the time you came to pick her up to the moment we laid her to rest you were there for us helping to navigate through everything. Thank you so much for everything. We will be forever grateful.

Dear Mr. VanArsdale: Not everyone has a calling to help families grieve & rejoice when their loved ones cross over, but God made you an angel here on Earth to help his children with that process. Thank you so much for everything you did for my mother. It was perfection to a "T". Sincerely,
Debroah Safko & her family.
Dear Bruce, I don't know if it's appropriate to send this to you but I can't help but "thank you" again for all you've done for my family and me with regard to my mom, Olga Welsko. You made dealing with this situation so much more easier and go smoother and you have sincerely touched my heart. Mom looked so "BEAUTIFUL" and that means so much to me. (She was "stunning"!) Thank you with all my heart…for everything. P.S. The "When I'm Gone" poem you gave with my mom's obituary is beautiful. It is very appropriate for my mom, as I'm sure it is for others, but they were wonderful words that I needed to hear. Sincerely,
Jean Jawidgik & family
Dear Bruce, On behalf of my sister and our families I wanted to thank you for your efforts and considerations during a very trying period for all of us. You were most helpful and professional in facilitating the arrangements for our mom. Your personal attention to all details was most appreciated and words are inadequate to convey our heart felt thanks to you and your staff. Sincerely,
Dear Bruce, Just a short note to thank you and all your staff for the wonderful care you took in arranging services for my mother, Mary Lanit. While we were not a "high profile" family, all was done with the utmost kindness, dignity and respect. You couldn't have provided a better arrangement. Times are stressful when a loved one passes and you made it so smoothly run, it was very easy on the family. Thank you for your excellent and caring services.

Bruce, Linda, and staff, My family and I are so grateful for the incredible job that you all did with my mothers' funeral. Mom looked absolutely beautiful. You all are to commended on you professionalism. You acted as if my mother was a relative of your own. Your kind and personal touch showed us how much you truly care. You made this difficult time a lot easier on us. Bruce, after the fantastic job you did with my fathers funeral in 1991, our family including mom knew we would never use anyone else but you! Ock - we haven been friends for many years and I can't thank you enough! Great job! Sincerely
Octarro Angelozzi (Ock, Tave)
Bruce, Linda & "Family" You have been so caring, kind, patient, with an open heart; so accommodating (moving room around & filing life insurance). We appreciated your good advice…and the room was bright and open, cheery yet elegant. The video commemorating Dad's life was just beautiful. The tree planted in memory of Dad was above and beyond, and was very touching to us all. And Bruce, you have the perfect personality for a funeral director! And now, 2 months later, you are helping us with a headstone. In appreciation and with love,
Jayce Shotwell, Carol Bright And family of Thomas Gasper
Dear Bruce, There are no words to express how deeply grateful I am for helping my family and I through this difficult time. You went above and beyond the call of duty. You eased our pain by knowing just what to say, just what to do…You're a special and gifted person. I prayed for a "Guardian Angel" to help me through and God sent me you. Thank you for treating us with such kindness, compassion and respect. With heartfelt gratitude,
April Hobby and The Rapuano family
Dear Bruce & Linda, We just wanted to thank you for the professional and personal way you took care of our family during Dads funeral. Everything was first class and as lively as a death can be. We appreciate the good care you gave all of us. Good luck in your new place. The Building is beautiful, but the people behind it make it even better. Thanks again,
Pat & Jim & The rest of the family
Dear Bruce and Linda, I know my brother Tom wrote to you, yet our appreciation for all you did for our family and especially for mom cannot be emphasized enough. I know it is your "job" however, your attention to detail all the little things you do for families, the tender guiding through the whole death process, the little pin, the bookmark and so many other details that are behind the scene, are recognized and deeply appreciated. I have been through this process many times and from experience I know you are the best in your profession. May God always bless you and give you the peace to do what you do so well always. Fondly,
Pam Metyzer & family
